This is my Pecha Kutcha! Japanese for chit-chat. We were challenged to give the short version of one of these in class, 10 slides - 10 seconds each. As this was a quite unserious task, mostly set to improve our public speaking skills in preparation for our Final Major Project I chose to take a funnier route.
The theme of this was our future but I am not someone who thinks too far ahead, I choose to make short-term decisions and see where life leads, it’s less stressful that way. I talked about the years I spent doing drama and how horrendous I am at improvisation, which unfortunately cuts my drama and acting career short.
I loved working in a music venue so much that I would love to open my own. This is a big goal that will hopefully be achievable. I mostly loved the community and the love for music that everyone shares. A big window is a must as I love sitting by them watching the rain roll down with a hit cup of tea. Niche, I know.
Vinted is the place! Also eBay and Depop if you know a thing or two about identifying clothing. Unfortunately, this technique is mostly based on people not knowing the value of the product they are selling:(. Also if you’re crafty buy damaged items and fix them yourself by adding fringes or other decor. Designer means nothing if it’s only worn for the name.
I believe the rest is rather self explanatory, overall, I managed to speak freely and put up a rather good presentation. Most of all I got the laughs I wanted out of my audience so to me this was a complete success.
